A really fun way to spend an afternoon. I had friends visiting from out of town and was looking for something fun to do for an afternoon. I found this bike tour online and decided to give it a try. We chose the tour of Riverside/Avondale but there are others to Mandarin, San Marco and the Beaches. All we had to do was show up. The bike, helmet, water and snacks were provided. Leigh (the owner of the business and our tour guide) gave us a lot of info about Jacksonville, the history, the people, the homes, etc. It's not strenuous for those who don't ride regularly and we kept a leisurely pace. I highly recommend it
This was so much fun. I've lived in Jax (Fleming Island) for 5 yrs and had still not gotten to know the Riverside/Avondale area. I said, what better way to get to really know a place than on bike? The bike path we took was easy and directly through neighborhoods. We stopped frequently to discuss the history of the area, or a particular house, or what was going on in that area currently. Great experience with lots of information. Leigh was very knowledgeable and fun - not a dull moment in the day! Reasonable price as well.
Our experience with e2ride bike tours was wonderful! I would recommend that anyone coming in the area and looking for a fun, energetic, yet relaxing activity to take the bike tour. We took the San Marco tour. The weather was good and the scenery was beautiful. This is a great activity for everyone. Leigh is a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable of the area. I would go back and take another tour in a heartbeat. It was such a great experience.
Absolutely the best...the best...the best!!! Leigh has got it going on!! We did the San Marco tour and it was an incredible day, lot's of history, comfortable ride (really nice bikes) and good fun with everybody on the tour. Leigh provides a little food, a little water and a lot of fun! She is well organized and extremely knowledgable of the area we were touring...she has my highest recommendation!
Scenic, Sporty and An All Around Good Time. If you're in Jacksonville, like to move around, and want to see the city in a different and fun way, then take one of e2ride's tours. I took my fiancee and I went on their tour of San Marco and it was worth every penny. Luckily, the weather was nice and our group went at a casual, but steady pace. Our tour guide, Leigh, was very friendly and energetic and really knows her stuff with regards to the history and landmarks of the area. The tour through the San Marco neighborhoods was interesting in that every house / mansion had its own style and character. Again, e2ride is no "cookie-cutter" tour and my fiancee and I hope to take another one of their tours when we visit Jacksonville again.
