“Awesome tour!!”
Our bike tour of Avondale with Leigh was a delightful experience. She provided a leisurely tour which was interesting and very informative, but not so mired in historical detail so as to be boring. I was particularly impressed by her genuine interest in showing us a nice time. When the three hours was over she asked if any of us was in a hurry, because she wasn't quite done with the tour and wanted to spend more time with us. How nice was that!! We got a tremendous amount of bang for our buck, including bikes, helmets, water(and souvenir drink bottle), and snacks, and a wonderful, friendly informative afternoon.! She also e-mail us pictures she had taken of us!

“Wow, bike ride, fresh air and educational all wrapped up in one package”
My first time to the city of Jacksonville. I wanted to get some biking in but didn't have my bike. I looked up biking tours & so glad I did! Had such a blast my first ride on the Riverside-Avondale tour! I signed my husband up when he got into town and I did the Riverside-Avondale Tour all over again. Plus signed us both up to do the San Marco Tour! You won't be disappointed!!! All you have to bring is yourself Leigh supplies the bikes, basket, sun lotion, snacks and water bottles! I am heading back to Jacksonville in a couple of days and already signed up for the Olde Mandarin Tour! Can't wait!!!!

“Terrific fun! Informative, gossipy, fresh air and exercise all in one morning!”
Leigh was a wonderful guide for a fascinating look at an old, historic neighborhood in Jacksonville.(There are several tours available, we toured San Marco.) Arriving at our starting point, we had a choice of bikes and helmets along with a water bottle. With safety paramount, we rode around Jacksonville while Leigh provided a running commentary on architecture, history, eccentric characters and photo spots. Among the many sites we viewed were: the house of the mayor, cisterns, a bald eagle's nest, outstanding views and an old church. We heard stories of wealthy men, housing for doughboys and the lowdown on some local homeowners! Leigh's exuberance was infectious and she made friends everywhere along the tour. A wonderful morning and great way to learn about Jacksonville.

My boyfriend and I were in Jacksonville for two full days (although I certainly wish it had been for longer!). We wanted to experience interactive and fun adventures, and Leigh's bike ride was that and more. Not only did we get some exercise in, but we learned about Jacksonville and the people. At first, I was slightly nervous about the whole 13 mile bike ride statement (yikes, I'm out of shape), but it was such a casual ride that it did not feel that way at all. Not only did we see the beauty of the area, but we had nice conversations and time for our own introspection - all while exercising! I highly recommend that you spend a morning or afternoon on one of Leigh's tours. She is so friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable.

Leigh was a fount of information about the Avondale-Riverside neighborhood, friendly and safety-concious. I was the only rider there on a Tuesday morning but I got the full tour. I wish more cities would have a bicycle tour such as this. Leigh, there's a whole country in need of you!
