This was the BEST 3 hours we've spent in a long time! Wow! This was SO MUCH FUN! We can't say enough good things about this adventure. In fact, I would even take this out of the TOUR category and place it under the ADVENTURE category! Our guide, LEIGH, was so knowledgeable about the Riverside/Avondale area that you'd think she knew everyone who lived there! As we rode along the quiet, tree-lined streets, it was as if we had just entered Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. Everyone seemed to know LEIGH. The residents, merchants, Postal employees, UPS, Sanitation and even Yard workers all waved and greeted her (and us) along the way. We learned so much interesting history and information about the area. Leigh will provide you with snacks, water, and everything else you need to enjoy a morning or afternoon around Jacksonville. She even takes pictures for you during the adventure. So worth the $$$. She really goes over and above to make sure you enjoy this adventure. What a treat!
Great way to see Riverside Avondale areas of Jacksonville! I took my two daughters (23 & 25) on this fun tour. Leigh was great to work with from the time I booked the tour over the phone until the end of our tour. The route she took us on was very scenic and interesting, lots of history but with a personal touch. The homes in this area are all very different architectural styles and so interesting to hear all about why this is so. We had a cloudy day and eventually it looked like it was going to start pouring rain, Leigh had designed our bike ride so that we could re route and end up back at our starting point before the downpour began. She had yummy snacks for us and we all had a wonderful time seeing this historic part of Jacksonville.
A great way to see various parts of the city! Leigh is a wonderful tour guide. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed her laid-back style, and depth of local knowledge of the area. She opened our eyes to many sights that we are familiar with, but had no knowledge about the history. She took great pictures of us, and sent them along for free. I would certainly recommend the tours to anyone.
Great way to see the city while enjoying the great FL weather! Leigh is a knowledgeable and friendly guide! She has clearly done her homework and made connection with the people of San Marco, Avondale and the surrounding areas. The equipment is clean and in great condition. If you have guests in town or are looking for a great way to spend an afternoon, I highly recommend Leigh's tours and then stopping for an early dinner at one to the great local restaurants...
WONDERFUL! This bike tour was the most enjoyable, relaxing afternoon I've had in a while! We rode through the historic Riverside-Avondale neighborhood, an area I've driven and even run through many times but never stopped to enjoy the way we got to on this bike tour. Leigh was a wonderful guide and full of knowledge about the history and architecture of the neighborhood. The ride is so scenic and relaxed that you don't even realize until the end that you've also gotten a decent workout. I would definitely recommend Leigh's tour to both locals and visitors for an enjoyable afternoon and a refreshing new perspective on the city.
