Tour Specialty: Amelia Island - Fernandina Beach

The wharf and  fisherman dock spirit add a special charm to this attraction, as you ride through this island community.  Fernandina Beach is filled with  traditional southern homes and cozy bungalows with big front porches covered with rocking chairs.  Spanish and Indian history lines the quaint streets where Bed & Breakfasts are common.  This area is the home of the shrimp industry,  where boats sink in and  out of the mud as the tides change. Our attraction takes you back in time, and to the beach.  Wear your suit for a swim in the Atlantic Ocean, or if you prefer let the edge of the waves tickle your toes.  Local restaurants, museums and shops are available after the ride.

THIS IS A VERY SLOW TOUR.  We offer this attraction OFF SEASON or during slower vacation days of the year.  Why?  To relax and enjoy the beauty by bicycle requires us to ride on sidewalks or on the roadways when they are not heavily traveled.  That is OFF SEASON for this highly popular area.  Tour may not ride on heavily traveled roads, which requires us to ride on sidewalks giving right of way to pedestrian traffic.  Our rIde stops frequently with walking the bike a necessity while passing pedestrians on the sidewalks and at intersections for a slower paced scenic ride.
