WHAT KIND OF BIKES DO YOU PROVIDE?

  • We provide comfortable, easy to ride Trek 7200 hybrid bicycles.  A hybrid bike is very easy for everyone to ride.  It is one that blends the best characteristics of both road and mountain bikes into a bike that is sturdy, comfortable and ideal for riding on back roads and sidewalks. These hybrid bikes are much easier and more comfortable to ride than the bikes we grew up on. It's like "riding a bike"!

Features of a hybrid that come from mountain bikes are a more upright frame, offering a more comfortable riding position, a stouter frame that can handle more weight -- in rider and/or cargo -- as well as absorb the bumps with shock absorbers that cushion the ride.

MAY WE BRING OUR WELL BEHAVED CHILDREN?

  • Sure, all ages (except newborns) are welcome.  We have a top of the line Chariot for children.  Our childs trailer holds 2 children - up to 75 pounds max.   Good for children ages 3 months and up and includes helmets.   $30 per child or $50 for 2 children.  If you are only bringing one child, keep in mind another child may sign up and ride in the trailer along with your child.  (kind of like in kindergarten)  You are 100% responsible for your child on the tour, and will be signing a release form.  Please make sure you know your child is up for this kind of activity.  If not, please do not bring them.
  • If you want to bring your own bike for your child you save $25 off the price of the full tour.  Please make sure they are used to riding at least a couple miles, bring their helmet, and they should have a great time.  (The only exception is the Beaches Tour in that it is 20 miles in length.)  We have a limited number of child bikes available for rental as part of our full tours.

DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE CORPORATE TEAM BUILDING AND GROUP RIDES?

  • Yes, e2ride has a marketing and management professional guide.  Your group will leave with a new sense of energy and empowerment.  Team building exercises may be incorporated into any of our rides to meet your corporate goals.  Realize motivation, inspiration and goal setting that your organization may put to use immediately. Rides will be designed and priced according to your group or corporate needs.

  • Yes, all riders must accept terms of waiver at time of reservation to book a ride, and then must sign in person at time of registration with their credit card and a valid ID present.

WHAT ARE THE RULES OF THE ROAD?

  • e2ride abides by all rules of the road according to the National Highway Safety Institute.  All riders should ride single file on the right hand side of the lane going with the flow of traffic.  All bikes are considered vehicles and therefore must be respectful of all street signs, lights and traffic symbols that an automobile would follow.  Any violation may put the rider in jeopardy of receiving a citation from local law enforcement.  This citation will be issued to the rider, and not to e2ride bike tours, as each rider is responsible for themselves, and their vehicle.

WHY IS THERE A $5 SERVICE AND HANDLING FEE WITH CREDIT CARDS?

  • This is our average cost to process credit cards to the financial institutions.  If you would like to not incur the charge, reserve your tour with your credit card, and let us know you would prefer to pay cash day of tour.  Then, your credit card will only be charged if you do not pay cash.
